After each use, clean the cutting board with detergent and a brush, then rinse it with clean water and wipe it dry with a clean rag. Avoid food residues to avoid bacterial growth.
After use, the cutting board should be placed upright to avoid water residue. Do not soak the cutting board in water for a long time or expose it to the sun to avoid deformation or cracking.
Apply cooking oil on the surface of the cutting board regularly to moisturize the bamboo fiber and extend its service life. Make sure the oil is fully penetrated each time you apply it.
Raw and cooked ingredients should be cut separately to avoid cross contamination. After cutting ingredients with strong fishy smell, you can use lemon and coarse salt to clean and remove the odor.
You can wipe the surface of the cutting board with white vinegar or salt water, then rinse it with clean water, wipe it dry and place it in a ventilated place to dry.
If the cutting board is moldy, you can mix white vinegar and water (1:2 ratio) and apply it to the mold spots. After removing the mold spots, apply oil for maintenance.
